”Never let go”

“Never let go” is an A1 cut-paper work by Fiona Scott-Wilson of a child holding onto a mother. “I wanted to explore the sense of loss of my European identity, the loss of unity and protection.”

Fiona Scott-Wilson exhibited the “Strong Woman” series – a larger-scale cut-paper exhibition late last year. Each work tells a story of interdependence and the powerful connection between Europe and Britain that is currently under threat.

Sidmouth Devon Exhibition

The Kennaway House exhibition recently ended was a great success. At the opening I was delighted to receive the Creative Coverage prize as well as many wonderful comments about how my works made people feel happy. I created nine new cut paper “paintings”  of children and women having fun at the beach.  “Ladies rides the waves” sold instantly to a charming Lady who told me she simply had to have it because it made her laugh and smile. I was pleased to sell many cards of the exhibition “paintings”. Cards are on my website now. Click here to see all the images.
